Kundalini Bellydance Tribe
Kundalini Bellydance Tribe is a fusion bellydance troupe based in the Sierra Nevada foothills in Amador County. Our style is inspired by American Tribal Style bellydance blending choreographed and improvisational moves into colorful dances. Kundalini Bellydance Tribes dances are performed as a group and can include zills (finger cymbals), swords, hoops, poi and fire. The troupe is available for all family friendly events, festivals and community events. We are Jenny Fuller, Sonya Castoe, Jenny Upchurch and Kimberly Wooten.

What is the definition of "Zaghareet"?
Zaghareet.
(Pronounced "zah guh REET".) The zaghareet is a high-pitched ululation done with the tongue. It is a sound of celebration associated with weddings, parties, and other joyful occasions. Within the context of belly dancing, it is a favorite tool for expressing approval for whatever the dancer is doing at the time, and sometimes dancers themselves will zaghareet to express how much fun they're having at the moment.
